STUDENT ART
One core belief of a Liberal Arts Education is the concept of the "Quality of a Question." Each semester at Louisburg College I meet and mentor 30 beginning art students. We complete a broad range of color and line studies in our Drawing Class, and both sculptural and functional work in our Ceramics Class. It gives me no pause whatsoever that the majority of these young adults will major in some area besides the Visual Arts. Together we walk with our fear and judgment and learn to take pride in and share our unique stories. I refer to these shared journeys as "Emotional Archaeology."
